  1. How did people not see this coming? that front 3 is absolutely insane and when salah hangs up the boots its gonna be Diaz to take his place so wtf did people actually expect. Liverpool needs work and new players in other areas for sure but that young forward 3 are gonna be the future of the premire league for sure

  2. You forgot the fact that whatever it'd do now for at least the next five years it will be this:

Utd fan: we've won the fa cup/league cup/Europa League
Liv fan: yeah, remember when we beat you 7-0?

Its the worst defeat in utd's history, we can only put right by returning the favour

  3. It's not just when United come to Anfield that Liverpool will show their quality. They really do step up against any 'big' club that comes here. Madrid are different gravy to everyone in the Premier League, but make no mistake Arsenal and City won't look forward to visiting Merseyside. Oh and that season where we didn't look like getting 4th we ended up 3rd. Minor point but we were crippled with injury that season, and in some ways that's been the case this season but everyone ignores that. With 3 or 4 news players in the summer I predict we will be title contenders next season.

  4. I know you try and not be biased and I must say you're better than most pundits, however, you can't talk about the kind of season Liverpool are having without mentioning that they've been inundated with injuries, this has led to a constant change in formation and its effected results, which in turn has had an impact on the teams confidence.

You talk about the fact that Salah, TAA, Robertson played as well as they used to play, because it was United, like these players are has beens who just rose for the occasion, they like plenty of other players in the team haven't been playing at their usual standard, but it doesn't mean they can't get their form and their confidence back.

Liverpool haven't just beaten Utd, they beat Everton, Newcastle, Wolves, keeping clean sheets, they have players coming back and new players Nunez & Gakpo settling in.

Liverpool need 2-3 players, but suggesting it will take 2 years to see them challenging again, shows that like most fans of other clubs, you keep underestimating this team.

This idea that some Utd fans have, that it's going back to how it was under Ferguson is ridiculous, even if Utd get new owners, because there is too much competition in the league now

  5. That second half was a freak incident, it felt like Liverpool players took out every ounce of frustration they've felt at how they've played this season out on Man Utd in that second half. I just hope they take the confidence from that and sustain it into the rest of the season.

Side note, how often can you see a team concede 7 goals and realistically say the goalkeeper wasn't really at fault? Might say he should have done better with the 3rd and 7th but he had zero chance for the other 5

  6. I think this hammering has been coming because ETH haven't really rotating the squad in pile up fixtures United had because he don't trust his rotation players that much FA Cup game West Ham should've been the game he rest players for Liverpool game but he still played the best players wheather they starting or coming on he played the best players we got too much with no break and this 7-0 loss shows we need a good quality rotation players as well

  7. What went wrong was definitely underestimating the opposition. The atmosphere of Anfield on the day was looking for violence. It also didn't help that United have played a lot of games compared to Liverpool prior to the match. Liverpool were up for it and pushed the full 90. United looked tired really early on. But that's what makes a top team. Endurance. Liverpool will still look deadly next season once they get that midfield cleaned up. I'm feeling nervy for Arsenal's trip to Anfield after seeing that game tho. Haven't won their in so long and it's gonna probably decide the title imo
