I watched this second friendly football match. The performance of our national football team in this particular friendly match is really frustrating. I have started believing that if our national football team play football for another 50 years, even then their performance will never improve. We got independence 52 years ago. After 52 years of our independence we could not make eleven football players from a population of over 170 millions. The football team of a country like Seychelles defeats our football team at our home ground. What a shame for us! The footballers of that team are not at all professional. They are in various jobs for their bread and butter and play football in their leisure time. Their coach is their senior playmate. On the contrary, our players are full professional and earn a huge amount of money from different sources by playing football only. Our national coach and club coaches are foreigners and they are paid millions of dollars for this worst-ever performance. Whereas, our Golam Rabbani Choton earns poor but gives much to our women football team. Our FIFA ranking position is gradually going downwards and almost at the bottom position. How unlucky a nation we are!
